  • Experience: Robert has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on immunology since 1998. His current areas of research are in analyzing the pathogenesis of dengue virus infection using a mouse model and developing new diagnostic immunoassays. In the past 15 years, his research has focused on the T cell immunology and cytokine signaling of infections with Chlamydia trachomatis, Epstein-Barr virus, Leishmania chagasi, and dengue virus.

Robert's primary driving motivations are improving science education and bringing immunology into the study of infectious diseases.
