Workshops for Hepatitis C

SSI conducts training workshops in Egypt on topics that are relevant to both our grantees as well as the needs of young scientists in Egypt. The objective is to increase knowledge of research methodologies, epidemiology, and biostatistics, as well as manuscript- and grant- writing. Our workshops are unique in that our instructors spend significant one-on-one time with each participant. To date, we have coordinated workshops on Hepatitis C, immunology, grant-writing, manuscript-writing, and setting up a grants office.
