Donations of Material Aid
Provide us with scientific equipment!
One of the major limitations faced by scientists in developing countries, is a lack of access to the equipment needed to conduct their research. At the Sustainable Sciences Institute, we provide partner laboratories with the basic as well as the state-of-the art materials they need to research, diagnose, and control the infectious diseases that affect their communities. We rely on donations of new and gently used equipment and supplies by companies and universities from across the United States. All donations are tax deductible. If you have functioning equipment or supplies that you would like to donate, please use our contact form (select the Donation of Material Aid option).
You could also download this flyer (PDF) to post at your university or institution to encourage your colleagues to contribute equipment and supplies.

Update: In addition to material aid supplies, we are always in need of monetary donations to ship the materials to where they are needed. We currently have a storage area in Seattle filled with new pipet tips and a storage unit in San Francisco filled with a variety of supplies and equipment that are both ready for shipment, awaiting funds. Please consider making a donation today knowing that all funds will directly benefit developing country scientists who are struggling with few resources to control devastating infectious diseases. Just click on the "Make a Donation" button that appears on every page. It will take you to PayPal but you don't even need a PayPal account to contribute. Any amount would be appreciated!
